These kids are so irritated thrilled their aunt is a portrait photographer. After all, doesn't every child enjoy having their photos taken every other day once in a while?

I'm their picture taking aunt. I'm always fun and entertaining regardless of my mood or how stressed I'm feeling. Every room I dwell in is always awash in happiness and rainbows whenever I cross the threshold. I would be mortified if I ever found out that I had bored the crud out of any of them...

Two nieces, one nephew... they never get shafted on the same fun games and tricks that all the other children enjoy. I would never just sit them down and expect them to cooperate just because "You should know better!". That would be utterly cruel...

I would never make my sweet little niece withstand hurricane force winds all for the sake of experimentation. That would be ridiculous...

AH YES, I am cool Aunt Dana... official taker of the photos and omit-er of all the rainbows. Ever patient, kind, loving. I would never dream of forcing a certain tween (who shall remain nameless) to smile and be joyous whilst I photograph her. Particularly if in order to execute said photograph, I required her family to tackle and hold her against her will as I snap pictures of the whole debacle. That would be deplorable...

I would never make them go through all that just for the sake of a couple of photographs...

If those things had happened, then perhaps one could say "They'll thank you when they're older!". But alas, I'll never receive that gratitude... because frankly those things never happened! Sigh...
